Perform functional tests of the company’s board and system-level products.
Test and troubleshoot board failures as required.
Provide detailed symptom descriptions for failures uncovered during the functional tests to assist in component-level troubleshooting.
Follow all applicable work instructions to perform testing and repair processes.
Replace or fix hardware components as needed.
Follow and improve RMA procedure as per company and vendor policy.
Discuss problems (technical and process) encountered while testing/troubleshooting with supervisor and engineering staff and recommend solutions to improve work efficiency.
Escalate product and process issues to management and help with problem resolution.
Follow all company, safety, and production procedures and regulations and maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
Communicate RMA updates to the sales team.
Keep records for RMA requests and detailed reports for each one.
Make sure to meet the service level required by the company.
Skills & Experience
Using test instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.
Perform board soldering and faulty component identifying and replacement.
Networking Knowledge is required.
Low current systems experience such as CCTV, Access control, Alarm systems, and smart home.
Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions.
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Qualification & Education
Minimum electronics certification from accredited two-year technical or four-year Engineering school
Good command of the English language: Ability to read, write and speak English well.
